Happy Tuesday Ya’ll!  What a beautiful day the Lord has given us.  Are you enjoying this beautiful day? I am preparing to head out the door myself and do some yardwork and gardening. Each day we receive is a blessing! 

As we move through this week, I will be praising our mother’s.  Whether you are a Grandma, Moma, or soon to be Moma, you are all special.  

 Proverbs 31:28-31 says, “Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.  Many daughter have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.  Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.  Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.” 

Moma’s have that special touch and warmth when we need it the most.   Whether she is here on earth with you or in heaven with our Lord. Celebrate her not only this week, but every week.   

My Grandma and my Moma both are in heaven.  I miss them both very much.  They both were wonderful cooks and I learned from them, and my daughter learned from me.  I remember their hugs when I was little.  Grandma would also squeeze me tight and she always smelled so good.  She was the sweetest Grandma that anyone could ask for.  I remember Moma reading to be bible stories when I was little.  She also had an awesome skill for sewing. So she made our dresses for church and I always looked forward to my Easter dress each year.  She would make me a dress, hairbows, and purse all matching.  And every spring just before Easter, I would get a new pair of black patten leather shoes and white sandals.  My childhood memories are the best.  This will be the 4th year she is in heaven on Mother’s Day.  Happy Mother’s Day in Heaven Moma!
