Hey Ya’ll! I hope your week has been great so far! We have been busy working in the yard and garden, and I didn’t get a post up yesterday.
Allen has also been busy with a new product, and I will be uploading it tomorrow, just in time for that last minute Mother’s Day gift. We have also decided that we are going to do a discount rate for our planters and crosses for Mother’s Day. If you have already ordered, don’t worry, you will get the discount as well. So be sure and checkout the products page for our Mother’s Day special pricing.
I was so glad to hear from some of you about precious memories of your mom’s. We always have our own special memories and when you share them with others, it is a blessing.
Allen and I have three adult children. My Mom use to say, that her best years of her life was raising her children. The best times of my life have been raising my children. They are such a blessing to us and I have been so grateful that God allowed me to be their Moma. Now that they are all grown up and living their own lives it has been a whole new chapter for us. I was able to stay at home with them when they were growing up and that has been so special for me. I am sure you Mom’s out there know that feeling as well. Each child was so different in so many ways and that made them special individual people. Those long nights when one or all were sick, and you just sat by their bed to make sure they were still breathing and the times that you would kiss a scraped knee were sometimes scary. But praying over them nonstop and even as they are now adults is something that has never stopped. We all want what is best for our children and we always want them to have better than we did. But just giving them to God and dedicating them to Him can make all the difference. They are now living for God, and we couldn’t be prouder of who they are today. Spending time with them as adults is awesome!
Enjoy every little moment as they are growing because time will go by quickly. Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
The importance of instilling Godly values and principles in a child’s life, gives values that will shape their character and choices as they grow older. I am so thankful for a Moma that instilled these values in me and parents that took me to church.
To all the mother’s, I pray that you are blessed and have a wonderful Mother’s Day!
Proverbs 31:31 “Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.”
